I have proudly been a State Farm Agent in Newton, IL since 1997. We serve the Newton and Jasper county areas as well as Oblong and Crawford county,  offering auto insurance, home insurance, and  life insurance.  I started working in State Farm agencies when I was attending college and have worked in insurance for over 30 years.  In 1990 I started as an underwriter and worked in the State Farm Corporate office before locating in Newton, and Jasper county as an agent. 

I met and married my husband Brent in Newton and we have 2 children.  I enjoy following my children's activities, traveling, reading, and decorating.  Stop by the big red barn in Newton, I built this office in 2016 and have enjoyed putting a rustic touch to make our farm a comfortable, homey place. 

 I am a graduate of the University of Illinois  with a bachelors degree in  Finance with an insurance and risk management concentration.  I have received the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter designation, have been a multiple Ambassador Travel Qualifier, a Chairman's Circle Qualifier, a SVP Club Qualifier, and am a Second Generation State Farm Agent. I am a member of the Jasper County Chamber of Commerce, the Oblong Chamber of Commerce and a Paul Harris Fellow in the Rotary Club.
